Hello all,
I have been growing loads of xmas and willow moss in my 10g for at least 6-7months now. All of a sudden in the last month most of it turned this brownish greenish color. I don't know what has happened.. The water sprite is still flourishing and growing out the top every week!
10g w/approx 25 rcs and a betta, I only occasionally fert, pressurized co2 in small doses and a mix of LED and flourescent 10 hours @ a little over 2wpg.
Is there anything I did wrong? all water parameters are good..
Is there anything I can do better? cheap**
What can I do to bring it back to lush green? Does all the brown have to be trimmed away?

First make sure it's not algae. If it isn't, trim as much of dead/dying growth. There has been some accounts of dying moss springing back to life after a couple of weeks; so trim wisely.

Ty for the reply.. I will trim all the brown.. It is not algae, and it isn't dead.. Its just a dark greenish brownish color.. Not the light green it was a month ago
