I wanted to share this with everyone. I thought it was cute and pretty funny. Did a small rescape today. And I guess my snail didn't like it so he dug himself into the sand. Does anyone know why snails do this? Well he managed to keep his belly against the glass thw whole time. The funny looking white blob is my nerite. First time ever I saw him do this

my MTS practically live in the soil XD
this is what they do the live in the substrate 90% of the time and that keeps the soil from getting gas pockets.

my mystery snails will dig into the substrate from time to time as well not sure why though

Mystery snails don't like light very much. Mine hides under leaf litter. Apparently if the substrate is deep enough they make little burrows!
