Please help as in my planted tank many fishes are dying because of the same kind of infection as in photo. It started all of sudden two days back. My planted tank is established one from one year. I tried melafix and pima fix for two days but no cure. One week earlier I added some new fishes but they are ok.
Ammonia is 0 ppm
Nitrite is 0 ppm
Nitrate is 20 ppm

I highly suspect this is fin rot, caused by a bacterial or fungal infection. Probably introduced a week ago when you added more fish and possibly their water. Did you quarantine?

Melafix or Pimafix should deal with this if it isn't too late.

I'm sorry to say, if it is too late your fish will die.

You should move all affected fish to a quarantine tank and treat, as well as do water changes in your main tank.
