Just looking through photos of how the tank started less than 3 weeks ago (it will be 3 weeks on sunday). I am simply amazed on how everything has turned out.

I Just pruned for the second time, and replanted a lot of the stems.

here are the pics.

Hi philipraposo1982,

Safe-T-Sorb #7941 is one of my favorite montmorillonite clay substrates; here it is in 3 of my tanks.

10 gallon; no CO2

20 gallon; no CO2

75 gallon; w/CO2 (just started)

i am pretty much done stocking my tank (i know i am understocked and this is done purposely)

7 oto cats
25 cardinal tetras
2 pearl gourami
2 golden ram
10 or so ramhorn snails (i want them in my tank :), i like them)
Wow. I'm jealous! My 72 gallon has been set up about 4 weeks total now and I'm finally comfortable saying I am no longer killing plants. But growth has yet to really happen. I'm using miracle grow potting soil with a finnex planted +. I must be doing something wrong because you're getting some great results! I'm starting to think going the dirt route could have been a poor choice.
i just didnt want to deal with capping soil, which is why i went this route. i have my own issues, nothing major but i have some bba in the tank and other algaes. personally i think i can control it s i learn the right balance.

Is that the original finnex fugeray? Awesome tank rapid growth for 3 weeks. Also what is the foreground plant? Blyxa?
Foreground is dwarf sag.
Light is finnex planted plus
thanks, the challenge has just begun though, trying to maintain its beauty and growth without explosion of algae is one thing. then having to worry about my fish and their health is another. I fear this is the easy stage...

Hopefully i can keep up with the issues then come along the way. no fish loss or plant loss to date.
