My first planted tank : 10 Gallon

I started with sera soil and added natural gravel, filter is a fluval plus2, fluval heater, and a 9 w compact flouresent, some guppys and a weather loach am thinking I may need to bump up my light ouput ? I cant belive how much every thing costs , I have less money into my 65 gallon cichlid tank :biggrin: .

I love this tank and want to convert all my tanks to planted !

If you're looking for a simple and not so expensive way to upgrade your lighting try this:

Incandescent Hood

with a couple of CFL bulbs. I've got it on my 10 gallon tank and it's working great.
