if there is not co2 system i think you might one to add one as it helps keep the water balance and plants growing....


i have a small 20z co2 can with on/off valve and a needle valve that would last u for 8-12 months at 1 bubble of co2 per sec... let me know if your interested... ops sounds like a for sale post xD lol mybad...

Thanks everyone!
The light I used is the t5no from coralife. I dont really wan to put any co2 right now but what would you guys suggest I do in order for the Algae to stop growing? I dont want to tinker with co2, at least not now, and Im reducing the photo period to 7 hours a day.
What other things should I do?

I've heard about people splitting the photoperiod - 4 hours in the morning, 2-4 hour break then 4 hours more in the eve, but haven't done of myself.

I have also heard that. Might have to try it out if the 7 hours dont cut it.
