Have you thought about hiding the intake on the left behind the driftwood?

I have thought of that, but it's not easy due to to the shape of my tank. I have added an piece of glass at the side of the tank to strengthen the top when I built the tank, as I started with a sump system on top. That piece of glass is now on the way of the intakes and out takes.Have you thought about hiding the intake on the left behind the driftwood?

The sand was sold to me without a brand, but I think it is the same kind of sand as this one. This sand is usually used for Geos, cories, and other bottom dwellers.I agree. That was the first thing that caught my eye. I like the whole setup, lemon tetras look good too, nice job.
For substrate, you called it 0.5mm sand but can you give more info on it? Was it just a bag of sand from a home improvement store, pool filter sand, or from a fish store? What is its intended use? It's pretty unique looking. Thanks
There is no hood on the tank. It's just a piece self-adhesive wallpaper I put there to shade some of the light.Nice tank! ^_^
Where did you get that hood on the tank? =)
That's actually a good idea.. Thanks.. ^_^There is no hood on the tank. It's just a piece self-adhesive wallpaper I put there to shade some of the light.
Thanks! The anubias is in my tank for 3 years now. This is what it looks like when I first got it. It's the one on the tree trunk like driftwood at the middle of the tank. I think my dim light in my original setup has prompted the anubias to grow upwards.nice plant selection, also that anubias is HUGE
