I been playing around with setting up my 29 gallon as a riparium for the last couple of weeks. I made a basket and used some suction cups and driftwood to hold it up with.

Don't pay attention to the two different tone lights. I have to get a new bulb tomorrow. Its all I had yesterday when I put the new plants up in the basket.

I know I need new lights but can this setup work for the time being? The lights I have about the back part for the plants are two T8 24" bulbs.
In this setup what lights would work best?

Looks great. I would think two spiral 25W bulbs would be enough.

I would also agree and think two, 25w spiral in those reflectors would be enough, if not too much. There are par readings on the forum for CFLs and various reflectors. You should check them out.

The CFl are just in the front for the plants that in the water both are 25 watts. Thinking thouse should be good. Just not sure about the T8s about the other plants.

I am guessing you could raise the reflectors and the 2x CFLs would be good for the entire tank. I ran a similiar set up on a 29g that proved to be way too much light over the long-run. I wouldn't worry about new lights just yet.
