My 90 Gallon has been setup for about three years. I have two filters, an Eheim and a Magnum 350. The Eheim is tied to my CO2 tank. There are quite a few fish in the tank, but they are very camera shy. There are four Congo Tetras, a single Pearl Gourami, a school of Cardinal Tetras, Harlequin Rasporas, a single catfish, and some amano shrimp.

My sad news is that I'm moving in July and I will have to dismantle the tank. If anyone here lives in Houston and would want any of the plants or fishies, let me know as I don't believe I'll be able to transport them to my new house. .

Haha, yes. I have to trim them back about every six weeks or they take over the tank. It's about that time. Amazingly, they started from just two single bulbs three years ago and I've actually pulled a few growths out.

That would work. I'm happy to have them go to someone who will care for them. If you want any of the plants you are welcome to those too. Otherwise I will see if Fish Gallery wants them.

If you can wait until late next week, we can work something out (I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow for a week). I'm in Midtown, just off 59 near the 45 interchange.

thanks ZB, you are not too far at all, very easy for me to pick up, i already have 5 congos and i wanted more so that works out perfectly, i also wanted a pearl gourami for a while and i will add to my cardinals and rasboras, so it works out perfectly for me, i will take good care of them, i am fine with waiting until whenever you are ready

i have two of the lotus plants like yours and they are taking over my tank, i might need your advice on how to trim them, i can't tell all the different plants you have in there, but when i see them, i might pick up some, specially if you have any crypts or nanas, i will take them

I'm surprised you even know there are fish in there, that's really planted out!

wouldn't it bee cool to have a really big tank with just a carpet of lotuses on the floor, and Crinum rising up in between them, just like in a West Africa river? and maybe with a just a few open areas in the foreground for some Pelvicachromis to sneak around in.

hydro, i was actually contemplating converting my 65 gallon to possibly be that way, you read my mind, but 65 is most likely not large enough for what you are talking about, i have the same footprint as a 90 or 75 (48"*18"), but i don't have the height, it would be awesome to do a "congo" theme setup with my school of congo tetras and a nice pair of pelvicachromis taeniatus and maybe a few more species from congo
