My 55 gallon: Updated 1-13

I figured I could post some pictures of my relatively new set-up to help those who are just starting out. Lurking around the photo album when I first got into this site really helped me out in deciding what plants I liked and what conditions the plants would grow under. This tank has been running for about 8 months, but I just "planted" it about 3 months ago.

Tank-standard 55 gallon
Filter-Marineland C-220 (should have got the 360)
Lighting-Corallife 2x65w PC with 6700K bulbs (8hr photoperiod)
Substrate-1 bucket of aquariumplants.com substrate
CO2-20lb tank with aquariumplants best regulator (on for 8 hours, turns on 1 hour before lights), internal reactor driven by powerhead
Ferts- previously seachem flourish and NPK, but will start dry dosing KNO3, KH2PO4, and K2SO4 after next water change

Fish-2 angels, 4 otos, 2 bolivian rams, 2 bosemani rainbows, 2 dwarf rainbows, 8 blue tetras, 7 von rio tetras, and 1 king tiger pleco that looks good but tears things up.

Here's the tank when I first planted it, the amazon sword grew out of the tank in no time at all.














Next on my to do list is to replace the hygrophila with something with some red in it...just haven't decided on what yet.
