Well the HC carpet is starting to grow in and the water is crystal clear, thought it was as good a time as any to throw up some pics.

Oh and for your 55 gallon you could do a nice Malawi cichlid tank with a big colony of demansoni. With black sand and black background trust me iv done it before and its beautiful!

nice hex. what kind of lights do you use? tall tank is hard to keep epescially with a HC carpet.

I use t5 HO. the fixture holds 8 24" bulbs and my HC pearls daily =)
