The tank was originally a hospital or quarantine tank. Instead of throwing away plant trimmings and broken twigs I put it in the tank. I believe the tank has been running for over a year. I trim it maybe once or twice since having it. For foreground I just push it down instead of trimming it. As for the background plant it grows above the water and just dries and die. No need to trim it. Pennywort just grows and dies.

I put pregnant cherry shrimps in it to give birth and move them back to the community tank afterwards.

Riccia is held together by javamoss and green hair algae I think. Doesn't really float up.
