I think consistent stand height rather than tank height. And same color stands helps too. Same lighting will help but i wouldnt go that far.
+1 I have 5 tanks in my little office. Different stands/styles/sizes. When people walk in the only thing I hear is "oh wow, look at that tank" meaning the 55 that is planted. I think half of them don't even notice there are other tanks in the room.Nobody will look at anything but the tanks the only thing consistent in my apartments is all black furniture. Who cares about the rest I'm sure people's attention will be directed more forwards the scape of your tank

This is very true. If you have a larger tank and then some smaller tanks in the vicinity, most people when they walk into the room for the first time will only pay attention to the big one.
