I think there is some confusion. Mr.aqua does make a aquarium soil that's different than ADA Amazonia aqua soil. No experience with the mr.aqua brand here. But these soils are nutrient rich to feed the plants roots and buffer your PH to the 6 range. You still will need to dose the aquarium water column with ferts once established.

What is your concern? You are scared it will raise your nitrates and phosphate levels really high? Or are you hoping it will add to the water column so you won't have to dose for the plants?
