I'm in the process of setting up paintball CO2 on my 30gal and now its come down to picking out a diffuser. I don't have a large amount of money so anything swank like ADA is out of the question, but I do still want something functional that looks fairly nice (no more chopstick nubs for me).

Left to my own devices, this is what I have narrowed my search down to: the Mr. Aqua CO2 diffuser/Bubble Counter- See link:

It looks pretty, and I'm liking how the diffuser and bubble counter are all rolled into one. Any kind of reviews or experiences with this product that you can share would be very much appreciated.

Or are there similarly priced diffusers and bubble counters that you would recommend? I'm sure that there is a lot out there that I am unaware of.

Glass/ceramic diffusers are hit or miss. If you really like that style, but that particular diffuser doesn't work well, you can always keep the tall glass piece and buy a couple identical replacement diffusers from Evilbay.

In my experience, the larger the diameter of the disc, the better shot you've got of getting a quality diffuser.

But, if you have a regulator capable of hitting 40psi working pressure, and just one aquarium on the regulator, I'd probably go with an atomizer. Out of stock atm, but this is the type I'm referring to: http://theshrimplab.com/store/?p=76
