I currently have a bunch of vals (spiralis, I think) spread along the back of one of my tanks, and would like to group them to cover maybe 1/3 of the back. Does anyone have any suggestions for a way to keep them contained in that area? I was thinking maybe some sort of border like is used in gardens, or maybe a long, thin piece of acrylic cut to the height of the substrate. I imagine they'll try to grow runners over the top, but I think it'd be easier to see and trim that way. What about ways to keep them down while they take root? One last question - how densely can you plant them without negatively affecting their growth? I tried to search for answers before posting, but wasn't able to come up with much. Thanks :)
