So I'm currently building a patio pond and have constructed a nice little waterfall/rock barrier
The thing is there's some gaps in the rock that I was planning on filling with moss.

I have some java moss for in the water but for the rest of the spaces I'm not sure on what species to use

I was maybe thinking terrestrial moss but got to thinking, would a carpeting plant like Montecarlo of HC work? It would be easier to get than terrestrial moss

Any other suggestions are appreciated

What are your thoughts on using rhizome plants like java fern and anubias?

I did actually think about getting some epiphytes, but was worried they might not fill out the space as much.
