hi

i want to make a moss wall,
does it matter what sort of mesh i use?
anyone got a good link to instructions on how to make one?

There have been a lot of threads here in making a moss wall. Also, if you goggle "moss wall" Im sure you can find one.

I used gutter plastic mesh. The holes are just right for moss to grow. I dont know if this is availbale in New Zealand though.

Hey plecostomouse,
I just used the plastic hobby mesh that they sell at craft stores. It is firm and easy to work with. I used fishing line to tie all the edges together and suction cups on the back. After redoing the wall I realized that small zip ties are way easier. Good luck.

If you can find them, metal screening or wire mesh would work better aesthetically because of their thin walls. The only problem is finding the right material or else it would rust/corrode. Stainless steel would be good.

I use window screens and fishing line. That I use in my 10g and in my 110g. It works great.
