I have a 10 gallon that is going to be a divided platned betta tank. I think I'd like to try growing some type of moss on the divider to help camoflouge it. Any suggestions as to what type of moss might be best used for this application - and where to find it? All I ever see around here is java moss, and even that can be hit or miss.

Go to a craft store. Go to the knitting section.
There is a plastic mesh that is used, get 2 pieces in clear or black, that will fit the divider area.
Sandwich the moss between the two pieces of plastic, spreading it out in thin strands so it colonizes well.
Sew the two pieces together with thread or fishing line. Slide into your tank.

Some people use suction cups to hold it to the wall. If you cut it approximately it will fit like a glove.
