I read something about blending moss into paste and applying that paste to driftwood. How do you do this? Thanks.

My understanding is that does not work well with aqautic moss, it does work with terrestrial moss which is where that came from I think.

Takashi amano does it with riccia, which is a liverwort. Im sure it'll work with moss just dont blend them to the point of wasabi....id finely dice it with a sharp knife and paint it on the surface. It will only work with the dry start method however or else the moss wont attach and you loose it to your filter intake

I've done it with fissidens and flame moss. Paint it on,put in sandwich bag and mist for 7 to 10 days. Worked pretty well on lace rock, so ID think it would do better on woos. Bartohog told me about it.

Do not blend--grind or finely chop like herbs. Works best with aquatic mosses since they will take "root."
