i received this in a shipment from a fellow member and we do not know what kind it is. i am currently looking different places to ID this. can anyone help?

those sharp leaves are a characteristic of willow.

not Willow Moss

That picture does not show Willow Moss. It is very distinctive and easy to tell apart from the rest of the moss.



Try taking a picture of a few strands of the moss if possible, instead of a whole mass of moss like the picture shows. IT will make IDing much easier.

It is neither willow or java....
when it is attached to something it has long fronds that curve up in a U....I will try to take a pic of it in the tank.. It looks similar to willow but not quite as long and jagged...it is jagged like willow but the legth of the protrusions is a little smaller.
