I have a 65 gal. bow front planted tank w/fish. Currently I have two 65 watt CFLs on the tank which is 2 wpg. My question is, if I add another 65 watt CFL this would bring it up to 3 wpg, so would I then have start using C02 in my tank? Or would it still be okay to just continue to use ferts (Excel, etc.) and no C02?

i'd say you're already on the upper limits of light for a no Co2 tank. so yes if you add light you should add Co2

also for future reference this is a thread that belongs in the lighting, equipment or general planted tank discussion forum, rather than in plants
