Anyone moonlights their planted tank?
I have been toying with the idea and would like suggestions for or against. I have 46G bowfront with aftermarket VHO lighting fixture. i have plants and a 2 clown loaches and a few tetras

My 4' fixture has 4 built-in moon lights. Fish might be able to see the light but it sure does nothing for me (barley visible).

I added two of these on a separate timer. They attach with a suction cup and are submersible. They're pointed towards the front of the tank and any fish swimming by it cast a shadow on the carpet that looks like a mouse or rat running across the floor. lol

My moonlights come on automatically when my daytime lights go off. I like the look of it at night. All they are, are tiny LED black lights.
