I have not found any way to help, but they will either stop moving or keep flicking around trying to get their shells off and end up upside down bumping against things trying to crack it off.
This is some obvious tips, but you can prevent molting problems by having a clean, balanced tank, and feeding the shrimps a rich diet-including clacium rich stuff like spinach.
