This clear gelatinous stuff is growing on a piece of drift wood in the tank. The tank is around 9-10 months old and the drift wood has been in there the entire time. I've noticed over the last 2 months or so and it's slowly trying to expand on the wood. It's quite difficult to get off. I pretty much have to pull it off.

Is this some type of mold? Would spot treating with API Pima fix work? Or should I try spot dosing with hydrogen peroxide? Not quite sure what I'm dealing with so unsure how to tackle it. Other than this stuff the tank is almost algae free and the plants are very robust.
