Is it OK to have different species of shrimp in same tank? For example I have Red Cherry Shrimp and at some point down the line I want some Blue Tigers or Blue Pearl. Will it be OK to house both in same aquarium?
Some species need low PH soft water, some need higher PH like Sulawesi shrimp. if you want to mix different species make sure they will tolerate your water parameters. http://shrimpkeeping.com/water-params/
tiger are ok pearl are not. i had oebt with orange neos for a while and they did great. i kept my tigers in a ph of about 7 with gh5 kh2. i never had luck keeping any of my tigers in crs parameters
