So I bought half a dozen Pygmy Corys at the LFS today. Acclimated them and moved them into the tank, first fish in there.

Five of them are schooling around together, looking for food, etc.

Number 6 is no where to be seen. Don't see a body.

Do I need to be scouring the tank to find a dead fish so I don't get an ammonia spike. or is he likely off hiding somewhere.

This is a 7.5 gallon cube.

I know how you feel....I have 11 pygmy cories and I can cound 5-7 at a time...no dead bodies either...

Back when my 5 pygmies weren't dead, I would seldomly, seldomly see them in my 17G planted tank. They were hiding so much that I went for 3 months without knowing how many were still alive.
