Am I on the right track for my CO2 setup?

I managed to get a hold of a VWR 55850-412 ("multi" stage CO2 regulator w/ 1/4" NPT outlets and an included needle valve)

The regulator I bought came with a cryo hose which I believe I won't be using...

The needle valve has a male 1/4" adapter, so what I still need to figure out:


solenoid w/ 1/4" female connectors

right angle connector w/ 1/4" male on one end and 1/8" male on the other end

bubble counter w/ 1/8" female connector

hose barb or whatever is coming out of the bubble counter




Is the above correct? Also I believe I'll need a CGA320 -> 1/4" adapter because that hose isn't going to do it for me.


All in all, I should have

CO2 tank -> CGA320-1/4" adapter -> regulator -> needle valve -> solenoid -> right-angle 1/4"-1/8" adapter -> bubble counter -> reactor -> HAPPY PLANTS

The included "needle valve" will not generally be sufficient...too coarse..

Buying a needle valve will save me having to find the elbow. Thanks
