Hi plantastic37,

I'm not familiar with a 'mini' java fern; do you have a species name for the plant you want?

It seems like you may have some in your tank. I believe its: Microsorum pteropus 'Philippine'

Says it only grows to max of 15cm usually.

BEAUTIFUL TANK!
Hi plantastic37,

Thanks for the complement. Sorry, no M. pteropus 'Philippine' in my tanks; I currently grow 'Trident', 'Windelov', and 'Needleleaf'.

I did a little Google search and this is what I found:

MICROSORUM PTEROPUS 'PHILIPPINE'

Hardiness: Easy
Light Needs: Low
Plant Structure: Rhizome
Family: Polypodiaceae
Genus: Microsorum
Region: Southeast Asia
Location: Philippines
Size: 16 inches (40cm)
Growth Rate: Medium
Can Be Grown Emersed: Yes
Maybe in a few months I will have some Bolbitis heteroclita 'Difformis' which I really like because it is much, much, shorter than Bolbitis heudelotii. It took forever (well 12 months) for it to become established.
