I read tons of threads over the past year prepping for a planted tank this summer and I started to mineralize. Well, I got my threads and soils mixed up and now, after almost completing the wetting and drying cycle for for MTS, I realized that I am using MGOCPS. I have tried to go through to see if anyone has done this but cannot find a post where someone has used potting soil instead of top soil. Is this OK? I do not want to dump this in a 55 gal, cap it and end up with an epic fail. Should I add some inert substance to the mix (ex. Pool Filter Sand)? I already have the clay ready to mix according to Aaron Talbot's method. I have also sieved the potting soil to get rid of the floaters. Has anyone mineralized potting soil?

Thank you in advance.

@Midnighttide102 and @Monster Fish

Thank you both for your quick replies! I was afraid that mineralizing potting soil would have an adverse affect on the tanks success since Aaron T and everything else, now that I look back after starting the process, points to using topsoil.
I was also wondering how long the dirt is good with nutrient levels after I have completed this mineralizing cycle? It may be a few weeks before I start the aquarium setup stage because the wife wants to paint that room and we need to make room in the garage to store furniture while painting. Will the soil be ok just to sit dry for a couple of weeks?
