Has anyone every housed Micro Crabs in with any type of shrimps before?
If so, what was your experience with this?

I tried it... Can't find the crab. I don't know if it's alive and shy or dead.
I don't see a reason it would be a problem... Micros don't seem aggressive, and I'd think they'd eat shrimp food.
My LFS has them in the same sale tank, but I know that doesn't prove much.

I agree about shouldn't be a problem...had to ask before i end up getting one to find out a bad mistake, ya know...doing homework first.
Hmm. If it was me, I'd maybe try putting a micro in a mesh hatchery with a few shrimp and seeing if anything bad happened... Test run. I don't think they can hunt, their claws are pretty small and seem more like shrimpy claws.
These things tuck up into balls when you scare them... Like spiders. It's kind of funny.

I have one in my 5G shrimp cube. Ive had him for about 8 months now, probably longer. Ive noticed they only come out at night to walk around and scavenge the tank. Try feeding late at night then checking up on them.

Theyre not aggressive at all, and actually munch out with my shrimp on wafers from time to time.

Definitely a neat little crustacean!! Plant Terrestrial plant Aquatic plant Grass Wood

I had several in with my shrimps (4gal tank) with no problems. They do no harm to any thing in the tank.
Awesome...I guess I will follow through as planned...getting a couple of Micros...yay!
