Yes that's a flower and the plants were more than likely grown emersed.

Thank you ua hua for confirming it was in fact a flower. As far as grown immersed that I don't know. I bought it from pet co about 6 months ago. It was potted and in a tank all by herself. I'm reading in between the lines here but I'm gathering that this is a plant that can be grown out of water and at one point of its life was? So that makes it more prone to flowering? I dunno.

I had liliopsis flower last year submerged. You must be doing something right!
Thank you I'm so glad that this is a good thing.

Last time I thought I was doing something right and thought my plants where pearling.

I then was told that it was in fact tissue damage causing the bubbles.

So this is great news.
