Right now I am determined to build a forest like theme with waterfall in the back and a variety of fish. The waterfall will really spice up the tank and make look more forest-like. At the moment my tank just has a few trees and piece of wood on the side and with black diamond substrate, but when I'm done with it,it will look like a beautiful forest. In order to accomplish this task I need to think outside the box and learn how to set it up. Overall, I am determined to make my tank look as good as possible.

Bump: I have started on my tank for the first time, learning the basics so I can all these steps correct. Hoping to succeed in pursuing my dream goal.

that sounds like an epic scape. post pics please! i wanna see.
My forest is 10% complete. My waterfall plan is going to have to wait because I plan on euro bracing the corners of my tank. Before that though, I need to build my acrylic filter intake/skimmer pipes and an acrylic spray bar so I'll know where to drill the acrylic braces at. I figured the only way to hide the waterfall piping is to use black pipes with a black backgound or stack the rocks all the way to the top of the water surface. Would love to see your build at the moment.
are you gonna do one of those white-sand waterfall things that are driven by an air pump?

because you're new to this the best advice I can give is to not rush things and don't get discouraged when bad things happen (they will).
