I have a 55g tank with 2X54w T-5s, pH8.12, 68˚F, CO2, Iron supplementation, fluorite substrate and no fish. I have an Aponogeton ulvaceus that is thriving and flowering, and A. madagascarensis that is melting. The only factor I can think of affecting the Lace Plant is the pH being too high. The bulb is half submerged and the plant is under the power filter for good flow. Ironically, I had it in a 10g tank and it was thriving in warmer water with no flow. I moved it because it was getting too big. Maybe it just didn't like being moved. It's been in the new tank a couple of weeks. Any suggestions? I really wanted this plant to be the centerpiece. Should I trim the brown leaves off ? (That would mean all the leaves.)
