Hey guys, anybody here run a successful medium to high light tank using excel as a source of carbon? im just starting out and was wondering what kind of results can be achieved in a tank such as this. by successful i mean a lush full tank with good growth with your average plants. I will be converting an established fish only tank to planted. I plan on dosing ferts and excel. light is a aquasun 2x 24watt T5 ho i got cheap. 29 gal tank, inert gavel. so anybody try a similar setup? what plants would work well?
