What exactly are you trying to do?

A Mazzei 584 is venturi injector usually used a skimmers for a SW aquarium. They are designed to inject large amounts of air into a large amount of water. The bubbles created are comparatively fine, but noting close to what would come out of a true CO2 injector.

I don't think the Mazzei 584 would do much of a job injecting CO2 at something like 5 bubbles a sec into the water flowing through the injector.
I've had this up an running now for a month I'm using a Brass reducer and a Brass 1/8" hose barb with a rubber washer in between both.
I was wondering if any one else was using any different adopters.
I have a Blue Line 55 HD 1100g pump with 2 legs {2 returns} for my 110g tank 60x18x24.
After my pump it split in 2 .
1. Mazzei
2. Nu-Clear 533 an 547 filters

My Mazzei produces a fine micro bubbles like mist like a Fog in my tank.

I thought they were supposed to be pretty good for C02 injection?
