Hi my friend gave me this...and I have no clue how to open it...can anyone direct me towards a website or give me step by step directions on how to open it correctly....I don't want to break it. thanks

It seems like it wants to break, but it won't.

Yep...just give those handles on the side a tug upward, they'll open the filter up.

Often they are sealed very tightly initially. If you take a flat head screw driver and gently break the seal they pop right open. Just make sure all 4 handles are open first.

Open the valve where the tubes are, that will help.
