I have some pretty neat vivarium plants here as packages. Some of them are pretty rare in cultivation. Most will ship as small cuttings each with 2-3 leaves.

Select Rare Plants - $71 shipped

  • Sphyrospermum buxifolium - Neotropical, epiphytic blueberry - small rooted plant
  • Raddia brasiliensis - Neotropical herbaceous bamboo, this one grows somewhat larger, to about 18", good for larger vivs or greenhouse - established plant
  • Trichosalpinx orbicularis - nice mini orchid, easy to bloom, purple leaf reverse - blooming-size plant
  • Elaphoglossum peltatum - excellent mini fern - cutting with 2-3 leaves
  • Lithachne sp. - another Neotropical herbaceous bamboo - small rooted plant

Native Temperate Terrarium Plants - $40 shipped

Most temperate zone plants do not grow well indoors, but I have been keeping these small evergreen groundcover plants in terrariums with good results for more than a whole year.

  • Coptis trifolia - cutting with 2-3 leaves
  • Goodyera pubecens - small rooted plants
  • Rubus hispidus - cutting with 2-3 leaves
  • Mitchela repens - cutting with 2-3 leaves
  • Polypodium virginianum - cutting with 2-3 leaves

This package will also include these native woodland mosses.

  • Ptilium crista-castrensis
  • Climacium americanum
  • Thuidium delicatulum
  • Brachythecium rutabulum

Care is a little bit more tricky for terrestrial temperate mosses, but I can offer a few extra tips for planting them.
