i'm thinking of getting 10 mangroves off of ebay to put in my planted tank. Will it live fine in freshwater? and can it live in a saltwater refugium? thanks!

Yes it will live in salt or fresh water.

I would like to reiterate the last part of this quote, it is a TREE! Being a former reefer, I had mangroves in my refugium, it loves light such as MHs. It is a slow grower, but it will eventually outgrow your tank. What size of tank are you putting it in?
