How do I know what they look like? LFS has tons of snails, could be Malaysian Trumpet Snail, but owner has no clue. What do I look for?

They're the pointy ones. If they wanna charge you for em see if you can buy something else and have them toss a few in the bag as "extras." I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't have enough of these guys once they get established.

the snail has a elongated spiral shell, usually a tan-beige colored shell and a black , dark body. at a closer look they look like sulawesi snails in body shape. they have an operculum.
their size can range from very small to 1"+ up to 2". most frequently you will see smaller and medium sized ones. huge ones are rare.

look for a snail like that at your LFS.
