I'm getting a 24 inch planted plus today from a friend at work. I'm going to be using it on my 10g which is 20" long not 24.

How can I make some pegs or legs or something to have it sit on the top of the tank. Even raised an inch or two I'm not picky. But it must sit low enough to grow glosso carpet.

Finnex comes with legs that slide all the way along the light. U can position them at the 20" distance. U can also just put it on top of the rim since it doesn't get too warm

Really? I didn't know that. I think it was just a three inch slide
