Does anyone have an opinion on Magnolia Leaves in a new Shrimp tank? We have a tree in our backyard and plenty of leaves on the ground. I just grabbed a few off the ground here in this attachment. They definitely are somewhat broad leaved and look like a smaller version of the Indian Almond leaf. The dried ones I have attached are also very close in color.
Thanks,
DD

As per a shrimp group, magnolia seems to generally be fine to use... guess maybe that list needs updating? It is by no means complete. :smile2:

If they are picked off the ground, make sure that there were no fertilizers or pesticides used in the area. Maybe over kill, but I bake mine and then boil them to be sure I don't introduce any pests into my tanks.
