I bought a Madagascar Lace Bulb from my local pet store in Milford, NH for $5 and figured "Hey I'll give it a shot!". After about a month in it's own tank, it had still not began to grow. I moved it from that tank, over to my Axolotl tank (a low flow tank) and put it in between the two filters I have to provide adequate current for the plant. After another month or so, it began to bloom and now (another months later) it is growing like crazy and is still growing strong with many blooms coming off of the bulb at this point. Since it is doing so well, I would like to clone it, but I have very little experience with growing plants from bulbs. I was wondering if it is possible to clone this plant off the mother plant by through clippings? or do I need another plant to have them "mate"?

Any feedback on how to clone this plant would be greatly appreciated!

Get some of those little plastic watercolor brushes. Brush the flower of one plant and get visible pollen on it. Then brush another bloom with this brush. Then collect the seeds. Now look up what to do next to sprout them after they develop. They may just need to fall into the tank and "incubate".
