Madagascar Lace movement

I have a beautiful Madagascar Lace plant that has been in my tank for over a year now. The tank has been previously a low light tank. I have now upped the light, added CO2, and fertz. I have noticed over the past week that my lace plant is getting a bit too much algae on its leaves. I think I want to move it to a location in the tank where there is a bit of shading, and a higher amount of water flow to help keep the algae on the delicate leaves at bay. How well do these plants tolerate a move? It just came out of a dormancy period and is now producing leaves again.

I do not want to kill the plant, but I am afraid that if I keep it where it is, it will die, and if I move it, it might die.
