Madagascar Biotope Paludarium help

2874 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Wy Renegade
I plan on starting a Paludarium and seem to be leaning toward a Madagascar Biotope. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a site or article that I could read that might give me some information about creating a Madagascar Biotope? I've been searching around and found some information, but nothing that gives me a list of flora and fauna common to the island or anything that would help me in the design of my paludarium.

Thanks,
Bill

Check out Mongabay.com's Northern Madagascar biotope information at

One very common plant, umbrella palm (Cyperus alternifolius) is native to Madagascar.
That Mogo Bay site is pretty cool, I've done quite a bit of research there.
