Hey guys, I bought some ludwigia repens two days ago from petco, was completely green (other than some brown leaves I pruned), no red to be seen.

Today there are 4 leaves that are half red.

Does that mean it will continue to change color? Or is it temporary?

Most of the ludwiga from petco is the emersed version and will change as it grows into the submerged version of leaves.

You should start to notice small leaflets growing underneath each of the plant's current leaves. These are the new submerged-adjusted leaves which are coming in to replace the emergent growth leaves. Even with lots of CO2, this might take awhile, as the plant is not photosynthesizing optimally with its current setup.

Mine change all the time. The bottom leaves are usually green and the top ones are a nice red
I had to add extra iron in order to make the plant red.
