Hey, I just joined this forum and have been looking at all the wonderful tanks that you guys all had and decided to post pictures of my own to get feedback

This tank has about fifteen RCS and two fry (they came with my RCS at the store) numerous other plans as well. Its been running for about two months without any water changes and food :icon_lol: and everything is just going great ^_^. The last time I measured PH, it was around 7.1 and had a ammonia level around .01ppm :thumbsup:

Picture of my free fish ^_^ It currently eats either algae or tiny parasites, Dont know where those parasites come from but I have seen my two fry chase them.. there numbers are extremely low right now which is good.

Yep, thats the name of the turtle I have never seen one before its smiling face really made me laugh, haha

The purpose of this tank really was to make it as low tech and natural as possible so no CO2 or much fertilizer. I do use PlantGro every now and then whenever the algae is struggling to grow.

Its notable that I did not use any type of substrate such as soil because all my plants (red cambodias, Anubias Nanas, and marimo moss balls) can thrive if I just threw them in the water and let them floated. Also because my tank less than eight inches tall, it does not have much room for it :S If I find otherwise though, I'll defintely add some.
