Any suggestions on a low-tech, low/medium light, background plant for a 10gallon tank that is a color other than green?

I had some Ludwigia Super Red but it was not thriving and I was sick of it shedding leaves

How about one of the smaller, redder swords, like kleiner prinz?

Nice. Do you know if it usually reaches maximum height of 12 inches? I ask because if that is normal, it might be just a bit too tall for my 10g.

My two are mature plants under that. One is 11 or less, and the other is more line 9.
