Hi guys,looking for 3 plant bulbs that will give me 1-1.5wpg over my 90g.I already have 2 aga striplights ,1 double, 1 single so I just need the bulbs.As a newbie it's very confusing with such a selection out there.Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

What type of bulbs does it take?
If they're the regular T8 or T12 fluorescent tubes, it should be easy to find bulbs that will work. 6500k bulbs cost $7 for 2 at Lowes/Home Depot. The color is a bit yellow though, so I think it would look better mixed with an aquarium bulb with a bluer spectrum. Hagen power-glo looks great. I have a 6500k and a power-glo on my 75 gallon, no plants though.

Most bulbs in the 5000-10,000 kelvin range will support FW plant growth. If you don't like the lower kelvin range, try some of the higher, close to 10,000 kelvins. I like the 9325k combined with other bulbs, personally.
