I currently have a 29p planted, with 6 threadfin rainbow and about 8 guppies, 4 oto's, and about 10 or so ghost shrimp.
I was thinking of adding a pleco to the tank, I used to have one that didnt survive the recent move, had it for about 3 years and it didnt grew past about 3-4inches. I bought it at PetSmart and it was labeled "rubber lipped pleco" but of course PetSmart are notorious for mis-labelling... what breed of pleco would not grow more than 4-5inches... and would this be too much for my tank? (I didnt have the rainbow and oto's with the previous pleco)
It is a beautiful pleco. I also have a rubber pleco that seems to be staying small and a striped sail fin pleco that looks like it is going to get pretty big.
Go with the rubber pleco if you don't want to spend too much. If you don't mind the money try the queen arabesque. You won't be disappointed.
